I just heard the track in Vernal, has just change there rules, to accept frame modifications, for pure stocks, i am not sure who made the changes but the changes went made from the track in vernal.
We did however change the tire variance from 1" to 4" for the simple fact 90% of all the tires the pures are running are from 2" to 5" difference, so as not to eliminate over half of the pure stock cla** we changed the rules.

I am strictly against changing the rules in the middle of the season, but this is suppose to be a economy cla** and with everyone buying new tires before the season began i thought it to be foolish not to change this rule.

In 2010 i would hope to be IMCA sanctioned in the pure stock cla** and then the frame, brake and frame stiffener questions would be addressed.

But until then bring your legal pure stocks over to vernal and kick some but. Cool Cool

Thank You,
Don Hardinger.

So Don- Is what you are saying is- there are NO frame mods allowed- other than the sub frame connectors on the uni-body cars? According to the flying rumor mill this frame thing along with others have been tweeked a little- Just rumors huh  ShockedHuh?? Just as Allen posted- we are going by the rules that are posted - other than the 1" tire variance due to the Towel City tires- Correct?Huh? Are there any other revisions - in any other cla** just to have them posted somewhere on here for locals and the out-of-towners?
THANKS
